MBSR-Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction
Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) therapy is a meditation therapy, though originally designed for stress management. It is being used for treating a variety of illnesses such as depression, anxiety, chronic pain, cancer, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, skin and immune disorders.
The MBSR program teaches participants to cultivate an attitude of non-judgmental awareness and detached self-observation via various directed attention techniques. Participants learn thought and movement based techniques that increase control over a variety of experiences reducing overall distress.

Narrative Therapy- What if you are not the problem?
Narrative therapy is a form of counseling that views people as separate from their problems and destructive behaviors. This allows clients to get some distance from the difficulty they face; this helps them to see how it might actually be helping or protecting them, more than it is hurting them. With this perspective, individuals feel more empowered to make changes in their thought patterns and behavior and “rewrite” their life story for a future that reflects who they really are, what they are capable of, and what their purpose is, separate from their problems.
This form of therapy also helps clients explore their core values and reconnect with ways to live in alignment with their values and beliefs. This approach can build self-confidence, self-esteem, and make decision making more comfortable.

EMDR- Eye Movement Desensatization and reprocessing Desensitization
EMDR is an 8 phase treatment approach to healing after trauma and recovering from PTSD. The idea behind EMDR is those traumatic memories, when unprocessed, can become “stuck” in the brain, leading to a wide array of emotional and psychological difficulties. EMDR helps "unstick" the brain by revisiting and reexamining past distressing events to integrate new or "missed" information and reduce or eliminate the distress from the memories.

Equine Assisted Therapy-Connection in real time
Equine Assisted-Therapy is the partnership with horses in therapeutic process. This is a unique experiential experiences that allows people to get out of the office, and have an experience that allows them to interact differently with the things that bring them to therapy. The things they discover, and practice in the relationship with the horse and provider can be applied outside the arena and in relationships with people.
Equine Assisted-Therapy is facilitated with a client, a mental health professional, and equine specialist and at least one equine partner. As we explore the interaction between the human horse connection we are able to rediscover and reconnect with parts of ourselves lost to old patterns. We get an opportunity to include the nervous system in the therapy process and help to reset though new experiences and direct feedback.

Movement Therapy- QiGong
The body and nervous system can hold on to and store our experiences and stress long after our brain has overcome the stressors. Movement has been shown to help the body connect to the sensations of our feelings and help release old "trapped" experiences from the body. This can increase calm, peace, and empower clients to more deeply "let go" of thigs that no longer serve them.
Qigong (pronounced chi gong) is a Chinese healing practice drawing from Taoist tradition. It was developed in China thousands of years ago and is one of the pillars of Chinese medicine. Qigong combines posture, movement, breathing and focussed intent. It is a subtle, gentle practice of moving and balancing your Qi (life energy).
Qigong is made up of various exercises that optimize the energy in the body, mind and soul, with the intention to maintain and enhance health and wellbeing, without depleting us of energy.
