Expenses

Options and Expectations

Counseling service cost may vary greatly, and it is important that your treatment options be affordable, and you understand those options. Expenses will depend on 4 factors. Whether I am in-network with your insurance, what your out-of-network benefits are if I’m not contracted with your insurance company, what you want in your permanent health records, and what services you choose for treatment.I am able to accept Cash, Check or Credit Card. For Credit Cards, I keep them securely on file and co-pays or fees are automatically collected on the last day of the month. This means more than one session fee may be charged at one time. If you need a different arrangement please let my billing staff know and they can make those arrangements.

In Network- This may differ clinician to clinician even in the same practice.

Often the most affordable option, in network providers allow you o use your insurance benefits to their greatest potential. It may also include session limits, service limitations, and the and use of a formal diagnosis that will be a part of your health record. We am currently working with the following insurance companies:

Moda

Optum/United Health

Aetna

Pacific Source

Providence

Regence-Blue Cross Blue Shield

Cigna

 MHN United Behavioral Health

YCCO on a case by case basis

First Choice Health

OHP

Tricare West

* Please be aware that not every clinician is able to accept the above insurance. Please be sure to check with your provider before your 1st meeting.

Out Of Network

like an in-network provider, you are still given a formal diagnosis that is put in your health record. Insurance can still place restrictions on frequencies, and determine styles of therapy. It also means the provider you have chosen is not contracted with your insurance company. Typically, you can still see a provider who is not contracted (or preferred) you just may pay more (or all) out of pocket for the freedom to choose who you like and click with to provide services. Some insurance companies allow out-of-network providers to inquire about benefits. I would also recommend that you contact your insurance plan’s member services phone number directly and inquire if you are able to work with me and to confirm benefits for out-of-network providers prior to setting up an appointment. I would like to be able to check on your behalf, but many insurance companies don’t allow for inquires from the provider and required that the client or patient contact them directly for confirmation.

Private Pay

This is the most expensive option, but allows you to keep full privacy and autonomy related to your counseling. Insurance companies are unable to regulate or determine your treatment on any level. Some services are not covered by insurance companies and access to them would require out of pocket payment. I am also able to offer a select number of reduced fee for service slots to reduce the burden of out of pocket payments, please inquire.
Standard Fees: 55 min Intake Session:  $185
55 min Standard Session: $175
55 min Equine Session: $200 individual

$100 per person family session
60-90 min group Session:  $40-480.00

Work Shops: TBD

Sliding Scale

We understand that finances can be a barrier to accessing care. To try and offset this barrier we do offer a sliding scale/reduced fee for service option for those without insurances coverage, or if we are not able to accept your insurance. We use the formula below to help determine the discount provided. We encourage you to reach out to us for more information or any time your situation changes.
