Clinical Supervision

“A bird sitting on a tree is never afraid of the branch breaking, because her trust is not on the branch but on it’s own wings. Always believe in yourself” – Unknown

My Vision

I believe therapy is a sacred space that demands respect for the client and their individual process. Growth happens in relationship as humans hold a mirror up to each other. That includes the therapeutic space. It is my intention to bring the following vision to supervision:

- Strengthen clinical skills to genuinely connect with clients.

- Develop assessment skills that allow safety and growth.

- To develop curiosity to become co-experts of the client-therapeutic process. -To engage with multiple perspective, transparency, vulnerability, and creative possibility to build lasting change.

My Values

Service: Our role is primarily service; not expert or boss. This means we need to bring humility and a vision of equal humanness to our clients.

Social justice: As we strive to support individuals we must also seek change in the systems that led the individual too us. Building our awareness is key to our work.

Dignity and worth of the person: Be honest in your limitations, be vulnerable and willing to repair mistakes.

Importance of human relationships: We need each other and we can help or harm. First do no harm.

Integrity: Doing what is right often means getting creative, consulting, and researching before we act.

Competence: There is no room for ego in therapy and we should always be learning to improve our skills and perspectives. Be a life long learner.
